New Zealand King Salmon has been ranked New Zealand’s Most Improved Medium – Large Workplace in the IBM Kenexa Best Workplaces survey.
The awards are based on employee ratings in a confidential online survey. This year over 30,000 employees from 193 New Zealand organisations participated in this year’s survey, which is conducted between March and August and is open to all New Zealand-based businesses.
New Zealand King Salmon’s 395 employees graded their workplace and employers across 12 key categories including leadership, culture, recognition and engagement.
New Zealand King Salmon Chief Executive, Grant Rosewarne, says the IBM Kenexa Best Workplaces survey is a great way to identify the company’s engagement levels; to gauge how they were doing and what their people thought of the company.
“It’s well understood that an organisation with an engaged workforce performs better in safety, profitability, team member turnover and many other areas” he says.
“This is a fantastic achievement and is due to the dedication and hard work of our staff, especially the People Managers. I understand that it’s been a challenging time for our business and to have achieved such an improvement in our performance is outstanding.”
Mr Rosewarne, extended his thanks to all employees of New Zealand King Salmon “My personal thanks go to you all for being part of such an improvement in our overall engagement, I believe that our efforts will continue to make New Zealand King Salmon a great place to work.”
