Tom Sturgess to Chair New Zealand King Salmon

The Board of New Zealand King Salmon is pleased to announce the appointment of well known Nelson businessman, Tom Sturgess, as an Independent Director and Chair of the company, effective 14 April 2009.

Mr Sturgess manages a wide portfolio of New Zealand investments including substantial pastoral holdings, the Tiri Group, and is Deputy Chair of Blue Star Print Group.

Paul Steere, Chief Executive of New Zealand King Salmon, welcomed the appointment. “We are both delighted and fortunate that Tom Sturgess is able to join our Board. With his wide experience, including primary industry and his accomplished stewardship in NZ Industry, Tom’s guidance and wisdom will enhance the successful growth path the company is achieving.”
